Kids Hershey Bar Run: 5

With New Year’s Resolutions fresh in their minds, 45 of
South Central PA’s finest runners came out to tackle the
hills of Wildwood Park. Emerging first from the fog was
Harrisburg’s Kyle Snyder in 17:30. Traveling up I-81 to
take first for the women was 20 year-old Melissa St. Clair
in a spectacular 19:23. Frozen Foot Series coordinator
Chuck Wells took 2nd for the men in 18:59. Masters
standout Judy Cassel from Lititz ran a speedy 20:48 to finish second for the women.

Following a warm-up with hot cocoa or coffee and carb-
replenishing with bagels, random prizes were distributed.
We have barely made a dent in our pool of random prizes. Ten lucky runners made off with our AWESOME travel bags with running shoe keychains. We still have 20 bags to give out at the remaining races. Plus other cool stuff!

Most importantly, we’re off to a great start of a donation to Cumberland and Perry County Domestic Violence Services.  We would like to set a PR of a donation this year! Thanks to ALL the runners who participated for their generosity.
