Linglestown Run Twenty-one runners and one Great Dane took part in this brisk morning run. Hopefully, no one believed this to be an “Adopt-a-Highway” run. Although we ran the course associated with our community service project, Adopt-a-Highway, the only activities after this run were snacking and socializing. Now that so many HARRC runners own GPS units, there was some disagreement about the length of the course. Our various GPS units indicated everything from 3.5 to 3.8 miles and some amazingly fast paces. No doubt however, Becki McClintock led the pack with a speedy finish of 21:22. Gene Gignac and Mike Rebuk strode to the finish line in second, with a time of 23:17. Jim Collins started the course ahead of the pack, taking his first training run with his newly adopted dog, Derick.
