East Pennsboro 1/4 Marathon

Twenty seven runners turned out on a beautiful, but windy morning for a 1/4 marathon (6.55 miles - give or take) run through the streets of Enola, over Route 81 into the hills and back.  Several runners enjoyed themselves so much they ran extra after missing the official turn around. 

It was a family affair for the Morgans (Sean, Andrew and their father Scott) as well as the father/son duo of Mike and Sammy Smith .  New Jersey transplant Gordon Kaslusky finished first followed by the team of Rick Blood and Tom Snedden who ran to the old turnaround which measured out at 6.8 miles.  The first female finisher was Kristin Williams followed by Patty Parker.  They were part of a contingent of non HARRC members who joined us for the run today.
