                          Good Hope 4 Mile Run

The day was fairly nice for runners as far as winter days are concerned.  Wasn’t a very good day for the race director.  While I was on the course putting out the arrows to identify the course, I locked my keys in the truck with the engine running.  Had to run back to the start line to get the race started, then after the run was over, had to get the police to help get into my truck.

As far as the run goes there were 31 participants.  This was a really nice turnout.  The over all winner was Frank Leiter who ran under 6 minute miles.  First place female was Becky McClintock with 6 and ½ minute miles.  The course was not a really tough course, but it was not flat either.  In fact the finish was about ¼ mile up hill.  This was an age group run.
