On a cloudy morning filled with fog and drizzling rain, 29 runners met for the second AGCS run of the new millennium.  Included in those were one new face, Dave Cherry from Spring Grove.  Dave took up running last October and has been training for a 5K on the treadmill.  Today he set a PR at 28:07. Congratulations Dave, and we hope to see you again as you work towards your goal of running your first marathon!

Also, we got to say hello to some old friends that we haven't seen for awhile.  People like Mike Carman, Hap Miller, Jan Gibboney, John Zinn, and Jim Vorhaver.  it was good to see you again.

This week we changed the course form a five mile run along Industrial Road to a 5K through Wildwood Park.  What didn't change was the lead pack led by Tad Morris at 19:43.  Mario "My Legs Will Be Sore Tomorrow" Gordon ran his fastest 5K in a long time at 23:49.  The complete order of finish is:
