 On a relatively cool but very humid August morning, HARRC had its first "stag" AGCS run as only males came to run this scenic, but tough trail run at the top of the mountain between Lamb's Gap and Miller's Gap Roads.

Tadd Morris (34:57) showed his prowess on the trails by finishing first and besting Frank Leiter (37:20) by almost two and a half minutes!  Finishing third was Mike McFadden in 39:31.  Mark Barnhardt expressed regret at missing the run, especially after traveling to Giant Stadium and having to sit and watch as Penn State was crushed by USC.
