As Olympic running events were being conducted half a world away, 19
runners turned out for September's ACGS race.  They braved fog and rain to try a new four mile course in Enola.  The course wandered through the park, along some back roads, and up a long hill to complete a loop into the park.  Mario Gordon proclaimed the final hill to be equal to half of Miller's Gap without the leveling off in the middle.  That was a little
revenge for him making us run up mountains!

In a photo finish, Mark Barnhardt edged out Mike Garman by a nose to take the win.  Marge Lebo led the women with Jennifer Gilbert coming in second.  It was good to see Ted Witfield and the McClintock's back in the
pack again, and Lee McMindes ran his last Sunday run as a young 68-year-old.
