This month's AGCS saw sixteen brave souls head out
over the hills and dale surrounding Red Land High School. This
race, dubbed "Tadd's Challenge", featured five miles of
fall foliage, rocks, roots, mud and hills more befitting a mountain goat
than a road runner.
The first two miles were run on the cross country course around the school
followed by 1/2 mile of flat road. The second half of the race covered
powerline trail and wicked hills that could be view as either a
pleasant challenge or an exercise in reckless stupidity. Either way,
it was a run no one would soon forget. Tadd

lead the way in 37:30 with Mike Garman (37:33)
and Mark Ritter (38:11) right behind. Sue
Kramer was the first woman, and tenth overall, in 44:00.
