Weekly Sunday Club Run

On a crisp, cold morning, nineteen two-legged runners and one four -legged runners met at Stoney Creek in Dauphin for a "runner's choice" 4 or 10 mile run on an old railroad bed.  Waiting at the finish line was a batch of homemade oatmeal chocolate cookies made by Eileen McMindes.  After the run, Eileen was voted "the Assistant Race Director we most want to see on Sunday!"

In addition to the wonderful treats, we were treated to some spirited competition.  Tad Morris, Rick Blood, and Frank Leiter all finished first with identical times of 1:06:34 for the ten mile run followed by Joe Torchia in 1:11:52.

In the 4 mile run, Brad Colwell finished first in 28:34 followed by Brandy in 30:35 1/2, just edging out her Master, Rick Wertman who finished in 30:36.
