Weekly Sunday Club Run
January 28, 2001

On a cold, crisp, and sunny morning 15 intrepid runners met for the second time for a 4 mile climb at the home of Chris Gipe on Frog Hollow Road. These runners were again prepared to take on the menacing hill in this AGCS run of 2 loops of two miles each. Appropriately  enough, Mark Ritter, the youngest competitor, emerged the victor with a time of 27:38. Following close on his heels was Mike Garman at 27:40 with Brad Colwell finishing third at 28:52. Marge Lebo was the first finishing female at 32:18. Rob Botti was the sole
runner who elected to do just one loop of two miles. Finishing runners were greeted with bagels, donuts, and cold water courtesy of Mr. Gipe. Brad Colwell got no takers on a cool down run up the hill again.
