Italian Lake 3/6 Miler On a bright sunny Sunday with temperatures a bit below the freezing mark, HARRC runners gathered to run either 3 or 6 miles at Italian Lake. Tadd Morris started the run with everyone else but returned sooner than expected. He explained that he’d run a 40-mile trail run yesterday in North Carolina was not feeling up to running today. I wonder why. Oh, by the way, Tadd finished 2nd overall in a time or 6:42. Congratulations Tadd. Most of the runners chose the 3-mile option. Gary Grobman was first with a time of 20:30. Second was Mark Barnhardt and third went to the combination of Dave and Buck Falgoust. 19 runners, and one dog, completed the 3 miler Seven opted for the 2-loop version of the course. Greg Warner finished first in 42:49, followed by Ed Pague in 44:03. And now, there’s a 4-way tie for third place as Brad Colewell, Mike Garman, Mario Gordon and Andy O’Donnell finished at the same time. It was a nice day for a run, but you knew it was cold outside once you stood still for too long.
