On the first HARRC Sunday run for the spring of 2001, 34 runners and two dogs posted in spite of the winter temperatures.  At first there was a rumor that the large turn out was due to a miss print on the web site offering prize money to all finishers. Since the web master Rob Botti was not present we proceeded in spite of the lack of prize money.  Once again "runner of the year" Tadd Morris led the field followed by Mike Garman and the young Frank Leiter.  Susie Kramer led the women followed by Marge Lebo.

Riverfront Park 4 (approximately) Miler

Four runners attended the third weekly Sunday 1:30 run.  We ran to and around the Penndot building and back to Riverfront Park.  Everyone ran easy as Brad Colwell and Mark Ritter crossed the finish together in 33:04.  Frank Crupi ran 33:54. Nick Marshall, who ran four miles each way from home completed our 4 miles in 38:55.

 

Note:  The Easter weekend run will be on Saturday April 14 at 1:30.
