Lions Club Park - 2miles
In anticipation of the culinary feast to follow, 13 of HARRC's finest
raced the hilly course down and up Parkway West. Jimmy
Honchar, Joe Maraquin, John
Hargreaves, and Mike Garman wisely
decided that the best way to recover from the morning's half-marathon
would be to again run all-out just three hours later. (!?)
Tadd Morris, who had also run the Blue Knob
Half-marathon
just yesterday, at least waited a good 24 hours before
lacing up the racing flats. Tadd finished in 12 minutes flat.
Triathlete Jen Gilbert was the first and only
female in 14:21.
The annual HARRC Picnic followed today's race. Good food
and good conversation were in equal abundance. Participation
point and AGCS awards were distributed. Thanks to HARRC
VP Mike Garman for heading-up this annual
event.
