June 29-The Dog Run 5-or 10K
(AGCS Event # 10)

Who would have believed so many runners would show up to run on a course with this title?  In fact, it is named such because a runner was attacked on one of the streets of this pretty residential neighborhood.  However, Mike Garman reported nary a dog was seen.  We did attract the attention of some of the locals who paused in their robes and pajamas as they walked down their driveways to retrieve their Sunday papers.

Because it was an AGCS event, the 5K was designated as the official race for points.  Four runners went back for more to complete a 10K.
