Colebrook Rails to Trails 5 Miles or 10 Miles

On a beautiful Fall day, 22 runners turned out to run either 5 miles or 10 miles on the Rails to Trails path.  An added attraction to running the trail was seeing deer cross in front of some of the runners.  Newcomer Nick Murry finished first in the 5 mile run with Steve Remillard finishing second after a late start.  Mary Alice McClintock and Rhonda Hakundy finished together for the Ladies.  Tom Snedden, running his usual, easy, efficient pace, took first place honors in the 10 mile run with John Painter finishing 41 seconds later.  Dana Burger was the first Lady in the 10 miles followed by Patti Adami.

Everybody seemed to enjoy the trail and the cool Fall morning.  After the runs,  the runners were treated to Eileen’s peanut and chocolate tandy cakes.
