Colebrook 5 Mile and 10 Mile Runs

                                   

On an overcast July 4^th morning, 25 runners and walkers celebrated the Holiday doing the Colebrook trail run.  Ed Gamber won the 5 mile run followed by Andy O’Donnell in second place.  Susie Kramer was first  for the Ladies with Gunnar running by her side.  In the 10 mile run,  Frank Leiter took first honors running a 6:46 pace with a strong  challenge from runner-up Tom Lin while Kathleen Kilmore ran a strong first place finish for the Ladies.  Coming all the way from Silver Spring,
Maryland was Imants Celtnieks who turned out to be a friend of John Palks, another Maryland runner who is a regular with our group.  It seems that distance to travel is  no deterrent to attending our Sunday Runs.
