Mark ran his first marathon, the Harrisburg National Marathon on November 9, 1986, 17 years ago. Mark placed second in the Men's Masters category, first in his age group and seventh overall in this year's marathon. He celebrated with family and friends after the race. Mark was given the Director's award by Race Director Mary Alice McClintock at the awards ceremony following he race.
