Wildwood Park
To paraphrase from the movie, Field of Dreams,.........
"If you have a race, they will come..." And come they did!
As a
matter of fact, the Cedar Cliff Cross Country Team (and a lot
of other fine folks) came to run the hills of Wildwood Park.
Mother Nature blessed us with mid-40’s temperatures
and sunny day for race #2 of HARRC’s Winter Series.

team member Patrick Philbin
toured the course and took
top honors in 17:26. Jason Yinger
ran strong 17:54 for
second place. Third place was captured by Artem
Dinaberg in 18:14.
Women’s top honors were captured by Kristen
Zimmerman
in 22:12. Katie Topalian
and Rachel Keller
ran stride-for-
stride and tied for second place in 22:18. The ever-swift
Dee Nelson captured the bronze in 24:41.
While warming up with hot cocoa, coffee, and tasty treats,
the ever-valuable random prizes were distributed. Everyone
departed to enjoy the remainder of the day. A hearty group
was spotted heading back into the park for additional mileage.
Once again, HARRC thanks all of those who attended
for their generous donations. We are doing great with
our contribution for Cumberland County Domestic
Violence Services. Hope to see everyone back on
March 2, 2002 for the concluding run of the series.
